Role Summary
The Compliance Monitoring Auditor is responsible for performing internal audits and compliance monitoring activities related to the organisation’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and contracted aircraft maintenance services. The role ensures compliance with EASA regulations, including Part-CAMO, Part-M and Part-145, as well as internal policies and procedures, while supporting the continuous improvement of the Compliance Monitoring System (CMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, perform and document internal audits in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring System (CMS)
- Monitor compliance with applicable EASA regulations (Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145) and internal procedures
- Conduct audits of subcontractors and maintenance providers to verify regulatory and procedural compliance
- Identify, document and report audit findings and non-conformities, supported by objective evidence
- Support the definition, implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain accurate audit records and contribute to compliance reporting and trend analysis
- Promote a strong compliance and safety culture across the organisation
- Assist in the development, review and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures and systems
Requirements
- Knowledge of the EASA regulatory framework, including Part-CAMO, Part-M and Part-145
- Aviation auditor qualification or relevant training (e.g. ISO 19011, 9001 or compliance audit techniques)
- Proven experience in internal auditing within an aviation environment (CAMO and/or MRO)
- Strong analytical, investigation and reporting skills, with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently within a compliance team
- Good communication skills in English and Latvian
